Our interdisciplinary team has extensive experience and training in the functional restoration model of rehabilitation. Functional restoration focuses on reducing the physical limitations experienced by individuals following an accident or injury. The approach emphasizes physical health, education, and exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviors that may be derailing your personal goals.
Dr. Bianchini is a board certified Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist who is licensed in Louisiana and Texas. Dr. Bianchini has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. He holds adjunct faculty appointments at Tulane University Medical School, Department of Psychiatry and Neurology, and at the University of New Orleans, Department of Psychology. Dr Bianchini has staff privileges with a number of area hospitals including Touro Infirmary where he consults with the neurological rehabilitation team. He is the managing partner of Jefferson Neurobehavioral Group, which has offices in Metairie, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Houston, Dallas, and Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Dr. Bianchini consults on program development, referral relations, and helps direct Boost's active outcomes research protocol.
Dr. Wolfson is a New Orleans native who earned his Bachelor's degree in psychology from Colgate University, as well as a Master's Degree and Doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He completed a doctoral internship at the University of Washington, where he also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. Wolfson received specialized training at the University of Washington Multidisciplinary Pain Center, as well as multiple inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation departments, and has published in the areas of vocational rehabilitation and clinical decision making in rehabilitation populations. As Clinical Director of Boost Rehab, Dr. Wolfson oversees patient care and co-ordinates the treatment team to provide smooth continuity of care. Dr. Wolfson has also developed a proprietary monitoring system for collecting real-time, objective activity and pain data to inform patient treatment goals.
Michael Zeringue, MD, MPH is a triple board certified physician in Pain Management, Sports Medicine and Family Medicine and specializes in interventional pain management and physical rehabilitation. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Following residency Dr. Zeringue finished two separate fellowships in Sports Medicine and Pain Management. He is a life long resident of the New Orleans area and currently holds the role as team physician for Brother Martin High School in New Orleans.
Richard E. Baudry, DPT,
Director of Physical Therapy
Richard E. Baudry is a New Orleans native who resides in Metairie with his wife (also a native) and three young children. Rich is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a B.S. in Psychology. He is also a graduate of LSUHSC in New Orleans with a B.S. in Physical Therapy (’93), and of the Ola Grimsby Institute with a D.P.T. (Doctorate of Physical Therapy’04). Rich has worked in the New Orleans area since 1994 and founded Baudry Therapy Center in 2008. He has extensive experience providing both acute and post-acute care to injured workers and has been recognized as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Larry Stokes, Ph.D
Director of Job Placement Services
Dr. stokes has been in the field of Vocational rehabilitation since 1982. He holds a Ph.D. in counseling, specializing in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a minor in Research and Statistics from the University of New Orleans, 1998. Dr. Stokes is a Licensed Rehabilitation counselor and Licensed Professional counselor and directs Boost Rehab's Job Placement Assistance Program.
Originally from a small town in Missouri, Crystal graduated Magna Cum Laude from Drury University a private liberal arts university located in Springfield, Missouri. There she earned her Bachelor’s degree in education with departmental distinctions in psychology. Crystal is responsible for Boost Rehab's daily operations and serves as the main contact point for patients, physicians and referral sources.
Community Referral Liaison
Carol Osborne has been facilitating return to work and function for Injured Workers since 1989. She earned a B.A. in Communications from LSU, and has worked with Therapy Associates of Louisiana, Rehability, Crescent City Physical Therapy, Louise Coleman & Associates, and Intracorp before starting a consulting company. As an independent consultant with extensive experience in the industry, Carol understands the importance of maintaining a good communication feedback loop, and works diligently to create an open flow of communication between the Boost treatment team and the patients' other treating physicians. She continues to work with the psychologists and neuropsychologists at Jefferson Neurobehavioral Group in addition to her expanded role at Boost.
